Industrial design
Industrial design is a field of design that focuses on creating products and systems that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It involves the process of designing and developing products, ranging from consumer goods such as furniture, shelves, racks and design and appliances for industrial equipment and machinery.
The aim of industrial design is to improve the functionality, usability and user experience of products, while ensuring they are visually appealing and marketable. The design process involves research, ideation, prototyping, testing and refinement, with a focus on meeting the needs of users and stakeholders.
Industrial designers consider factors such as ergonomics, materials, manufacturing processes, cost and durability when developing products. They often work closely with engineers, manufacturers, marketers and other professionals to ensure the successful implementation of their designs.
The products developed through industrial design are often mass-produced, with an emphasis on efficiency, reliability and ease of use. Examples of industrial design products include home appliances, automobiles, furniture, and medical equipment.

Our intermediate tubes are 26 mm, these are often sold as 3/4" tubes because the inner diameter is exactly 3/4". These pipes can be used for most things. They are sturdy enough to build e.g. clothes hangers and stair railings but still flexible enough to make decorative furnishings with. If we make smaller interior details where it actually works well with 20 mm pipes, we usually call these "Heavy-Duty".
Our thinnest pipes, 20 mm, or 1/2" as they are also called due to its inner diameter is perfect for smaller furnishings such as paper holders, cool "pipe-guys" in steam-punk style where you can also have a lamp as a head, so-called lamp guy.
